Combined with our IH Consulting group, MAS offers a full
suite of Indoor Air Quality services.
Our Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) group advises clients on the
indoor pollutants such as VOCs, fumes, odors, respirable
dust, and particulates. Typical clients include:
• Facility Safety Managers
• Manufacturing Companies
• Homeowners/Homebuilders
• Contractors
• Schools
• Commercial Properties
MAS is capable of testing virtually any type of IAQ sampling
media, including:
| SUMMA Canisters |
| |
Stainless steel vessels which have had
the internal surfaces specially passivated. This process
combines an electropolishing step with chemical deactivation
to produce a surface that is chemically inert. They range
in size from 1L to 15L. Sampling times can be varied
from 2 seconds to 8 hours. Typically used for “whole
air” analysis. |

|
| Sorbentl Tubes |
| |
Used in conjunction with air pumps that pull ambient
air through the tube. Typically used when testing for
known VOCs and SVOCs using solvent desorption and GC-FID. |
| |
|
| Thermal Desorption Tubes |
| |
Also used in conjunction with air pumps to pull ambient
air through the tube. Typically used when testing for
unknown VOCs and SVOCs using GC-MS. |
| |
|
| Passive Organic Vapor Monitors (POVM) |
| |
A monitor
that is typically worn by a worker throughout the day,
used to test for VOC exposure levels. |

and Price List for more specific
information on methodologies, sampling recommendations and
prices.
