Mold Services |
MAS has four Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) with
a combined 100 years of experience, backed by our comprehensive
analytical capabilities for indoor air and workplace investigations.
Exposure Characterization Laboratory (ECL)
MAS has the capability to study: work practice scenarios;
local ventilation efficiency; particulate filter efficiency;
and powered vacuum systems emissions of particulates, fumes
and mists under "Tyndall Lighting". Studies and
evaluations are videotaped for use in training, engineering
and reference.
Mold
To complement our mold lab services, MAS offers mold consulting
services such as:

Our clients include homebuilders, homeowners, realtors,
schools and commercial building owners. Our mold group is
overseen by a senior scientist with a Ph.D. in Microbiology;
coupled with our Certified Industrial Hygienists and our
comprehensive analytical capabilities, we are able to conduct
comprehensive indoor air and workplace investigations. Our
rigorous QA/QC programs ensure that clients receive the most
accurate and legally defensible results possible.
Training
Our IH consulting services include comprehensive training
for both OSHA compliance and operating cost efficiencies.
Our CIHs will assess the situation and create customized
proactive programs that will result in sustainable, improved
safety. Then, we will train employees, contractors, facility
owners, etc. on the program implementation.
MAS can train for confined space, respiratory protection,
substance-specific exposures (lead, asbestos, benzene, etc.),
and laboratory chemical hygiene.
Site Safety Audits
Our CIHs are highly experienced in conducting site safety
audits of facilities, construction sites, hazardous waste
remediation sites, etc. for OSHA compliance. Site safety
audits typically include the following:
• Hazard assessment and risk analysis
• Exposure monitoring
• Personal protective equipment assessment
• Hazard communication assessment
• Site control analysis
• Analysis of standard safety procedures
• Emergency response plan assessment
• Recordkeeping evaluation
MAS also conducts accident investigations and can develop
